Art in-the-making
I would love to feature my art in-the-making, hopefully to show how my skills have progressed as well as my artworks. This is just to provide a brief history on my artworks.
Original Sin III
A sneak preview at my latest Original Sin Collection project.
Original Sin II
This is the latest addition to my Original Sin Collection.
Gold Rush
This took one week to complete. So far I have learn to play with colours, hue, saturation and contrast to create this effect.
I think I want to do more subjects about everyday life actions using this kind of style.
Amy Winehouse... football action... possible future projects.
Original Sin
This I think was a bit ambitious. It challenged my craftsmanship while doing the intricate details that I almost wanted to shelf this work.
After learning the right technique, I think there would be more future project of the same concept.. might be another version of the same title.
Pieta on Canvas
I always wanted to do religious themed art. Last Supper, Madonna and Child.. still thinking what's next.
Single Parent
so far my latest project after PIETA. i explored on portraits.. some landscape and a bit of still life... this time i want to experiment on animals. i am trying to establish a kind of art that would be distinctive to me... realism image with a touch of cubism by using panels with different colour contrast againts black background.
.
The Sunset
gone bigger this time.. this was my first bigger painting... experimented something different this time with cellutapes to divide the canvas. this made it difficult, i realise recently. the tape adhesive is sticking on the canvas making it hard to finish with paint on top.. plus it took me time to progress at I had to wait for every division to dry before doing the other.
Stargazers
It took a month to finish this. I suddenly didnt like the idea, I started thinking about doing something different. I dont want a usual painting subject though I love the finished product.
The Birth of Venus
this was my first serious project and its kindda an experiment. it took me almost a month to complete and loads of oils have been spent as I had to amend many parts.
The Summerwind
this took a long time to complete as I was busy with day job at the time. this is my first finished painting in UK aside from the other commissioned one.
this was a trial and fortunately it went out this good but used a lot of oil paints.
